Business Brings us Innovation

There are so many deserving small businesses out there that are all providing necessary products and services. I think the case could be made that there is no true, solid way to pick one above any of the rest because each one is technically best at what they uniquely provide.

Look at all the technological advances and products that we have in the marketplace now. Most businesses at one time started out as a small Mom and Pop type enterprise with just a few people until they grew to become a large corporation. Some businesses, especially local ones, stay small and local and are perfectly happy to keep taking care of their local community one person and one day at a time.

The company I work for is not a huge corporation but it happens to be one of the best I have ever worked for. They truly walk the walk and talk the talk of family being important. I have understanding bosses and coworkers and the company truly makes you feel like you are a part of one big family. We have a lot of advantages being the size we are in that I can walk across the building or upstairs to take care of things as they arise instead of having to email and wait hours for someone on the west coast to get back to me. Yet we are national, and have ways to communicate via our technology to ensure that our customer’s needs are met in a timely and raving fan fashion.

Without companies such as this all over our great nation, we would be missing out on many innovative, simply cannot live without products. Our company has the goal of ensuring that the time we spend in our workplace, does not cause us more harm than good. Let’s face it, we spend 1/3 or at least 8 hours working in a 24 hour day. If you count the waking part of it then we spend half or more of that day in our offices. Our products focus on making the worker as comfortable in their work space as possible and on their health, allowing options for employees to stand for portions of their day.

One recent such innovative product, that I truly wish we did not have a need for, is our Guardian chair. A hidden bullet proof vest system that blends into the chair so well that it is not readily apparent, yet could be used in so many scenarios and offices now to protect employees and people in general. Another innovation this year is our Connexion™ arm which allows you to attach your ipad or tablet to your chair and easily position it so you can use and see it allowing for less arm fatigue and pain.

Our company is in the process of qualifying for a grant that would help us keep bringing innovative products with worker safety and comfort in mind. Consider helping us by voting for us to go on to the next round.  Please click here to vote. We appreciate the vote of confidence and the opportunity to keep doing what we do best ~ bringing you the best quality ergonomic chairs that keep you smiling when you get up to go home.
